💡 Your Role: Become a trusted Certified Ethical Practitioner.

• If you are a student, therapist or if you know a therapist, make them/join the CEP program and get the designation to become a part of the solution. 

• The CEP designation ensures that the practitioner is at least a Master’s-level counselling psychology degree holder and is trained in the highest standards of ethical training. 

• Certified Ethical Practitioners (CEPs) will be listed on our Directory of Ethical Therapists, along with the Code of Conduct & Ethics they pledge to follow.

💡 Your Role: Educate Other Therapy Seekers

• Help the public understand the differences between different mental health practitioners (psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and counsellors) and why counselling psychologists need unified, registered practice standards.

• Promote the Directory of Ethical Therapists as a safe resource for finding qualified professionals and a system to address complaints about a therapist's unethical behaviour.

• Professionals and public, you can both help others make informed choices about mental health care.

💡 Your Role: Advocate for Quality Mental Healthcare

• Spread awareness about the right to safe, qualified therapy and the risks of working with untrained practitioners.

• Show people how ethical therapy can transform lives while protecting them from harm.

•  If you are a media outlet, publication, content creator or well-wisher, help amplify our message—talk, post, and share to spread awareness!

💡 Your Role: Partnerships

​

• If you are a part of academia or the insurance industry, let’s collaborate to reshape the system.

• Insurance Providers: Advocate for therapy coverage for CEPs, that are vetted to hold the necessary standards for education and ethical care in mental health.

• Academic Institutions: Collaborate to integrate CEP training into their programs as part of ethics modules or standalone courses. Upon graduating, students would already be a part of a directory to start receiving clients!

💡 Your Role: Build a Regulatory Body

​

• If you are an expert in the field or work with law and policy regarding mental health, are a society or organization, we want to work with you to establish a counselling psychology council/association to license/register therapists. We will together lay the foundation of giving the profession, the legitimacy and recognition it needs.

• This will pave the way for insurance coverage and elevate mental health care to the professional standards it deserves.
